Georgia On My Mind

Chautauqua performer Dianne Moran will become Georgia O'Keeffe for the evening, drawing information from the documented letters of O'Keeffe's many friends and her husband, celebrated photographer Alfred Stieglitz. She will be accompanied by lovely period melodies from songstress, Pat Frank. The life of the famous artist was not all world acclaim; she had her share of deep unhappiness and public condemnation. Througout her long life she remained totally devovted to art and truly was the Mother of Modernism in painting. 

Step back in art history with us and enjoy an afternoon performance with light refreshments and Bethleham Valley wine donated by Magnificent Missouri, along with O'Keeffe inspired art upon the walls. 

Of note to parents with young children: Dianne will truly BECOME Georgia with all the good, bad and in between. Some may be disturbing to young children.
